We left early Friday morning for our first family trip to Disneyland. Our last family vacation was to Hawaii about 3 years ago. So this trip was very much overdue.
He was so happy to see the planes |
The last time we took off for the same flight I was pregnant with Brandon ;) |
Brandon did well on the flight. He fell asleep shortly after we took off and the last half he kept himself entertained with his bag of toys and 2 trips to the bathroom.
We were accompanied bay Josh's family, Marcus, and Debbie. We stayed with Joshua's Aunt Elsa in her beautiful house located about 45 min away from Disneyland. His family from the Trias/Perea/Arayata were also there as well. We were able to see a few of them, but it was tough with the others as our schedules conflicted.
Our first day of Disneyland everyone was super excited. I've been to Disneyland many times, but seeing your child experience Disneyland for the first time just blows all of those trips out of the water.

Happy 60th birthday Disneyland! |

Half way through our first day a huge thunderstorm came through and stuck around for a few hours... This really threw a wrench in the gears. So this kinda forced us to take lunch break and Brandon conveniently decided to take a 2 hour nap during the downpour.
So we decided to just buy ponchos and soldier up! The person that we were most worried about dealing with the rain (Brandon) was the one who didn't mind the rain one bit. This was such a huge relief!
Daddy was not very happy with the rain |
We got to ride all of the rides we wanted except Peter Pans flight. The line was averaging about an hour! We had another day to spend at the park so we decided to save that for our last day!
Oh, we also had to add the parades and fireworks for the last day too as they were cancelled due the stupid the rain.
So we spent the next day relaxing and spending time with our so cal family, cause we knew we had a long day ahead of us the next day!
